SHILLONG: The Shillong police has restricted the entry of vehicles towards Golf Links from November 9-13 in view of the Chief Minister’s Open Golf tournament. The entry of vehicles towards Golf Links will be restricted from 5 am to 5 pm.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that vehicles coming from Mawroh via Chandmari junction and wanting to proceed to Polo will be diverted to Pynthorumkhrah via Langkyrding A. Besides, vehicles coming from Lumshyiap & Langkyrding and wanting to proceed to Polo will be diverted to Pynthorumkhrah via Langkyrding A. In addition, vehicles from MPRO Quarter will be diverted towards PTS-Mawroh Junction/FCI route and vehicles coming from Golf Club and wanting to proceed to Lumshyiap will be diverted towards Bhaiti junction. He also said no vehicles will be allowed to park along the periphery of the Golf Course.
