SHILLONG: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) Central Body, in a press statement, on Friday, stated that they have formed a “Cattle Smuggling Prevention Team” (C.M.P.T), a special team to tackle the problem of any cattle smuggling from the state to Bangladesh and to take efforts to prevent it..
The members of the central body have urged all its units at Laitlyngkot , Pynursla , Mawsynram , Mawkyrwat , Shella to be vigilant and for the public to collaborate with the organization in the curbing of such illegal practices.
