SHILLONG: IG BSF Meghalaya frontier P K Dubey is in Bangladesh for the BSF-BGB level coordination conference being held from Tuesday to Friday.
The border coordination meeting of BSF IGs and region commanders of BGB at Sylhet will discuss and look to resolve the border issues between India and Bangladesh along the international border in Northeastern states.
The 18 member-Indian delegation led by Dubey will discuss with the BGB delegation issues of common concern pertaining to crimes along the international border shared by Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram.
The issues related to insurgency on either side of border will also be discussed.
