Fraud
S. Kurbah, acting Rangbah Shnong, Mawlai Phudmawri and others jointly lodged a complaint that one Mobika Nongkynrih appeared before the Durbar officials in connection with the transfer of ownership of a land located at Mawlai Phudmawri, Shillong belonging to one Darisha Kharkongor. However, during verification it was found that the deed was forged by Darisha Kharkongor.
Assault
On November 17, one Aibor Jana assaulted his wife., Youmoris Dkhar of Nongkohlew village under Mawlai PS (EKH) and threatened her with dire consequences. He also stabbed her left hand with a sharp object and snatched away her gold ring and Rs. 30,000.
Shavas Sumer of Mukroh village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on November 16 around 3 PM, one Rossy Myrchiang along with two of her accomplices assaulted her.
Rossy Myrchiang of Lummuriap village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on November 13 around 7 pm, one Chawas Sumer assaulted her at Saliny Colony, Jowai (WJH).
Theft
On November 14 around 5.30 PM, unknown miscreant(s) stole one cell-phone belonging to Ioanis Suchiang from Demseiniong, Shillong.
