SHILLONG: With a view to prevent likelihood or attempt by individuals, coal traders or coal mine owners to resort to fresh mining, the District Magistrate, West Khasi Hills has promulgated an order under Section 144 CrPc prohibiting any fresh mining by any entity. This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
