SHILLONG: One Rajesh Rabha, has been acquitted by the High Court from a murder charge as the court found that prosecution has  failed to bring home the guilt of appellant for the murder of Bijoy Rabha.
The court in its order said, “The net result of above discussion is that we do not agree with the finding of guilt of appellant recorded by trial Court in this case as we find that prosecution has miserably failed to bring home the guilt of appellant for the murder of Bijoy Rabha, beyond pales of reasonable doubt. Consequently, we set-aside the impugned judgement and acquit the appellant of the said charge by giving him benefit of doubt.”
”The appellant be released forthwith, if not required in any other case” it said.
