Two drunk drivers fined

SHILLONG: A local court here has imposed fine of Rs 3500 and Rs 2000 on two persons for rash driving under the influence of liquor.
The Court of L Kharshiing , Judicial Magistrate, First Class  in its order on November 25 convicted Stomer Basaiawmoit who was booked by Rynjah Traffic police for driving the vehicle dangerously under the influence of liquor.
The Court imposed a fine of Rs 2000 and he was disqualified for driving any vehicle for six months.
The same court in its order on November 26 convicted Barimon Laloo  who was booked  by Laitumkhrah Traffic   police  for driving the vehicle dangerously under the influence of liquor.
The Court imposed a fine of Rs  3500 and he  too  was disqualified for driving any vehicle for a period  six months.
