Meghalaya Got Talent kicks off

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Got Talent season II kicked off on Saturday with around hundred participants joining the contest from across the State.
The participants, mostly dancers and musicians and a few innovative stunt performers took part in the Mega Audition on Saturday which shortlisted 30 performances inclusive of team and individual contestants along with five wild card entries.  The jury members include Assamese choreographer Jolly and local musicians Gracyl Ropmay and Sanat Basaiawmoit.
Nongthymmai MLA Jemino Mawthoh was also present at the Mega Audition.
The best performance award during the Mega Audition went to Ilawanshwa Nongsiej while the special prize was bagged by six-year-old Eyradella Pde.
The next Mega Audition of the contest will be held by the end of December while the semi-final and final will narrow down to top ten participants who will battle it out in January.
