MLCU musical evening

SHILLONG: The students and faculty members of the Department of Fine Arts, Martin Luther Christian University, took to the stage at Dorbar Hall, Mission Compound on Wednesday evening performing songs from yesteryears, ranging from the Beatles to Bob Marley, the Carpenters, Khasi songs by Skendrowel Syiemlieh and much more.
The performance, titled, “The Good Old Days- Music from the 1980s Down Memory Lane”, was attended by Vice Chancellor of the University, RG Lyngdoh, Registrar of the University, DD Ingty, renowned musician Keith Wallang, Summersalt’s Kit Shangpliang and music lovers from the city.
The aim of the performance was to provide a platform to the post graduate and under graduate students to showcase the skills they picked up throughout the current semester.
