One booked for rash driving

SHILLONG: A person was convicted for rash driving by a local court here.The trial court of L.Kharshiing, Judicial Magistrate First Class, on Monday found one Sunil Sunar guilty and convicted him by imposing a fine of Rs. 1000.Police said that on July 13 this year around 11.45 pm Sadar Traffic Police apprehended the accused hailing from Rynjah,  while he was driving his vehicle bearing registration No.ML-05-L-7150 in a rash and negligent manner entering a no entry zone from Raj Bhawan point towards Kachari and was booked U/S 279 IPC.
After investigation of the case, he was charge sheeted and the local court through an order dated December 5 found him guilty and convicted him.
