NESFAS celebrates Terra Madre

SHILLONG: The 8th Terra Madre Day was celebrated globally on Saturday. NESFAS too celebrated the day in the state.
This year’s Terra Madre Day, or Mei Ramew Day celebrations in Meghalaya, focused on Moosakhia and Samanong villages in Jaintia Hills.
Participants showed how ingredients collected from the forest can be used to make a meal.
