State BJP changes Good Governance date

SHILLONG: The State BJP as part of the observation of Good Governance Day had visited Shanti Bhavan on Friday. The State BJP observed Good Governance Day on December 23 after different religious groups expressed their stiff objection to the observation of the day on December 25, the day when Christmas is celebrated. BJP senior leader David Kharsati said that the party visited the place as mark of respect for Mother Teresa who has served humanity.
