14-yr-old held for minor’s rape

SHILLONG: Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly raping a minor girl.The police said the incident happened around 4 pm on December 23. The teenager raped a 12-and-a-half-year-old girl in her residence at Umlyngka, Mawpun, in East Khasi Hills. Police arrested the boy and remanded him to the Juvenile Home.
