Assault
On Dec. 25 at about 3 am, unidentified miscreants assaulted Paul Maxson Kurbah at Golf Links. As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was admitted at Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
Lucina Mynso lodged a complaint that on Dec. 22 around 4 pm, one Marleki Mynso assaulted her minor son Joshua Mynso (5 yrs) at Mookaiaw village (WJH), causing injuries to him and also threatened her with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
Accident
On Dec. 24 at about 5.45 am, one Maruti Gypsy (ML-04-9580) driven by Besterwell Sympli (29 yrs) dashed against one truck (AS-01HC-0797) at Khliehriat petrol pump (EJH). As a result, the driver and two occupants of the Maruti Gypsy sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Khliehriat.
On Dec. 24 evening, one truck (AS-11AC-9153) driven by Sapan Rai (40 yrs) dashed against one Maruti car (ML-04A-8647) driven by D. Paswet (23 yrs) near Mawryngkneng, Shillong By-pass (EKH). As a result, the driver and two occupants of the Maruti car sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong.
Threat
Yes Situng of Barato (WJH) lodged a complaint that on Dec. 22, her brother viz., Thin Situng forcibly claimed the paddy field, sold the tress and SBBL gun without the knowledge of the family members. He also threatened her and her family members with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
M.C Rymbui of Lad Thalaboh, Jowai (WJH) lodged a complaint that on Dec. 22, his grandson viz., Louis Rymbui (41 yrs) threatened his family members with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
Money snatched
Dipak Hingmang lodged a complaint that on Dec. 21 around 9.30 pm, two persons, Wanshemphang Snaitang and Borshan Nongbri, snatched Rs. 30,000/- from him and also took away his motorcycle (AS-09B-7486) at a place between Kulang and Pormodar (SWKH).
