SHILLONG: One person succumbed to his injuries after the truck he was driving met with an accident. Police said that the incident happened on December 23 at about 11.20 pm, when one truck (ML-10A-2247) driven by Hawnipaya Pakyntein met with an accident at Riaturiem in West Jaintia Hills. In the incident, the driver sustained injuries and was shifted to Mission Hospital, Jowai, where he succumbed to his injuries.
