Arms manufacturer held in NGH

SHILLONG: Police arrested an arms manufacturer from a village in North Garo Hills on Monday.      According to police, one country-made rifle along with six empty cases of ammunition and 11 iron pipes kept for making guns were recovered from the house of 51-year-old Trulson Ch Marak, who used to manufacture and repair arms. Marak was arrested from his residence at Khardang in Assam-Meghalaya border.  A case was registered at Bajengdoba PS in this regard.
