587 sqm plot allotted to Shillong College

SHILLONG: The State Cabinet on Wednesday decided to allot 587.78 square metre of government plot to Shillong College for educational purpose. Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Revenue and Disaster Management R.C Laloo said after the Cabinet meeting that there was a proposal from the Principal of Shillong College to allot land adjacent to the institute for educational purposes.
Laloo said the Deputy Commissioner was asked to file a report on the matter and there was no objection from the line departments and plot No. 62, which was a vacant land, was administered to the college.
