Shillong: The office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills District, West Khasi Hills District and West Jaintia Hills District has informed the general public that the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme 2017 (1st Round) will be held on January 30 in the arranged booths throughout the districts to be followed by house to house search and coverage activity from Jan 31 to Feb 1.
This programme is intended for all children from 0 to 5 years. Children who are regularly immunized will also be vaccinated.
All parents are requested to take their children to the arranged booths in their respective localities, and to the nearest CHC/PHC and sub-Centre on the specified dates for immunization.
