Martyrs’ Day
Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan in association with Metallica – Sargam Sports & Cultural Club organised Martyr’s Day on Monday at Anup Chand Hindi Secondary School premises, Shillong. Altogether 30 participants attended the activities organised by the Sangathan.

In pursuance of notification no. 237, this is for the information of all concerned that either the text book, “Senior School Grammar and Composition” published by Orient Blackswan or “Senior English Grammar and Composition” published by Scholar Publishing House (P) Ltd are recommended for classes IX and X for the academic session 2017-2018.
Clarification
One Syrpai Sutnga clarified that he does not does run any coal mining quarries in East Jaintia Hills. He stated that the report which has surfaced in some newspapers was false and misused by others who are mining illegally to tarnish his image.
