Protest rally in Baghmara against abductions

TURA: Several NGOs from South Garo Hills came together to protest against the rising cases of abduction in the region on Tuesday.
Hundreds of members of GSU, ADE, FKJGP and BCF and locals participated in a local rally in Baghmara on Tuesday.
The protest march began from Baghmara’s Bong Bazar passing through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at a government school playground. People holding placards made fervent appeals for peace.
