Infant killed in fire

SHILLONG: A three-week-old baby girl was charred to death after fire broke out in a thatched house in South West Khasi Hills. Police said the incident happened on February 1 around 7 am. The fire broke out in the thatched house of Kneh Wahlang at Nongbri Nongdom village. Necessary formalities were observed and the body was handed over to the relatives.
