SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Government Employees’ Federation (MSGEF) has asked the State Government to pay the dearness allowance, which has been pending for several months, at the earliest.
MSGEF members, in a federal executive meeting held on February 3, had expressed regret at the negative response from the Government and resolved to appeal to the Government to pay their DA.
The meeting resolved that if the State Government fails to issue an order on DA by February 15, the federation would be compelled to consider “undesirable options” to press for its demand.
