NONGSTOIN: A 22-year-old youth of Mawiong Pyndengrei immolated himself on Saturday evening.
The deceased man, identified as Hamral John Marngar, burnt himself near his residence. Police are yet to ascertain the reason for his suicide.
Sources said Marngar’s parents took him to Civil Hospital but he succumbed to the burnt injuries. An unnatural death case has been registered.
