SHILLONG: The infant baby girl who was found abandoned at Wahingdoh in the city on December 20, 2016, is now under the care and protection of Lawei Baphyrnai Specialised Adoption Agency.
Anyone having information about the infant may contact the office of the District Child Protection Unit in Lachumiere, Child Welfare Committee Lachumiere and Lawei Baphyrnai Specialised Adoption Agency, Mawklot, within 60 days failing of which the child will be declared legally free for adoption.
