FOCUSS elects new Secretary

SHILLONG: Debolal Gorlosa, the CEM of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) was elected as the secretary of the Forum of Councils under the Sixth Schedule (FOCUSS). He was elected during the FOCUSS meeting on Thursday.  The meeting discussed the creation of a framework of the constitution of FOCUSS. KHADC CEM PN Syiem said, “We will draft the constitution. The meeting has entrusted the EM of NCHAC, Kulendra Daolagupu to draft the constitution and place it in the next meeting.”
