Toddler falls into well, dies

JOWAI: A toddler died after she fell into a well in a village in East Jaintia Hills on Friday. Two and a half year-old Glory Talang was playing near their house at Mustem village on Friday afternoon and accidentally fell into the well, police quoted the girl’s father, Dapshynrang Shylla, as saying. In his complaint, Shylla said the girl was immediately taken to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital in Jowai but she was declared “brought dead”.
