SHILLONG: Two persons were arrested for assaulting an UB Constable here in the city on February 24. The accused Sandeep Paul (31) and Mani Das (35) assaulted Constable Upendra Rai at Keating Road, Shillong and fled away in a red Tata Sumo (ML-05K-7089) on February 24 at about 10.45 pm. Police apprehended the duo from Mawlai, the victim sustained minor injury and matter is under investigation.
