SHILLONG: A coal labourer was kidnapped by militants from a coal mine at Era Aning under Nangalbibra on Monday night.
The kidnapped worker has been identified as Azanur Islam, hailing from Bholarbita village under Chibinang in West Garo Hills.
The relatives are yet to lodge a complaint with the police in this regard though they made an appeal to the abductors to release him unharmed.
