Theft
On March 3, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero pick-up (ML-10B-1797) belonging to Narendra Vyas from Nongpoh. Matter is under enquiry.

Accident
On March 3, one NEHU bus (ML-05B-0648) driven by G. Sohsten dashed against one scooty (ML-05P-7453) ridden by Ibapherlin Suchiang (23 yrs) at Golf Club, Shillong. As a result, one female pillion rider sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Heroin seized
On March 3, police apprehended Raja Roy from Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah and seized 2.61 grams of suspected heroin from his possession.

On March 1, Martha R Marak lodged a complaint that Sunny Sharma trespassed into Martha Boys’ Hostel, Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah with an intention to commit theft.

Abduction
On February 27, five unidentified armed miscreants abducted one Md. Azanur Islam (28 yrs) from a coal mine at Era A’ning under Nangalbibra PS (SGH).
Assault
On February 25, Banlamphrang Snaitang lodged a complaint that Samborlang Thongni assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences at Mawpen Junction under Mawsynram PS (EKH).
On February 27, SI L. Kharsyntiew of Lad-Rymbai BH lodged a complaint that he along with other police personnel went to Barato village (WJH) to arrest one Jarsniaw Dkhar Tyngkan in connection with a case of Khliehriat PS. However, the relatives of the accused person viz., (1) Thol Dkhar Tyngkan, (2) Iol Dkhar Tyngkan and (3) Bahlut Dkhar Tyngkan obstructed and challenged the police on duty and also attempted to kill the police personnel.
