WKH accident: Conrad meets injured at NEIGRIHMS

SHILLONG: Tura MP Conrad K. Sangma visited NEIGRIHMS on Monday and met those injured in the West Khasi Hills truck accident on February 26.
Sangma met doctors who told him that two patients succumbed to their injuries, two are in critical condition and the condition of the remaining is improving.
The MP thanked the hospital staff for their service.  The hospital management also told the MP about the problems that NEIGRIHMS faces. To this, Sangma assured the management that he would take up the matter with authorities concerned. More than 60 people were injured in the truck accident near Nongstoin and many of them were admitted in three hospitals in Shillong.
