SHILLONG: A body of newborn was recovered from 4th Furlong point, Polo, Shillong on Wednesday at 9 am. No one had come forward to claim the female infant yet, and matter is under inquiry, the police said.
Soldier dies during physical training
SHILLONG: Army personnel died after he collapsed during a Physical Training at Ri Bhoi on Monday.
Vikram Singh of 21 Garh Regiment, Umroi, collapsed during PT session at Rangmen Army Cantonment in Ri Bhoi and later died.
