CSWO demands financial aid for accident victim

SHILLONG: The CSWO (Irene Hujon group) has urged the MLA and MDC of Mawkynrew to provide monetary assistance to an accident victim who is currently battling for his life in the intensive care unit of Woodland Hospital.Kerbor Nongrum sustained severe head injuries on March 3 when he fell down from a truck at Smit.The CSWO (I) blamed the owner of the truck for the mishap and demanded that he provide financial assistance to the family.The organisation also urged the Police Department to look into the matter.
