TURA: Two Garo organisations had demanded that stringent penalty be imposed for violating coal transport guidelines.
The NH-62 Save Mission Committee of Rongjeng in East Garo Hills and the FKJGP group have been protesting against trucks carrying coal above the legal limit 9 metric tonne (MT).
