MIYF lauds work of officers posted at Amsarin

SHILLONG: Appreciating the outstanding work of the new deputed (Transport Department) Enforcement Inspector Manner and Assistant Inspector Rongrin at Amsarin Weigh Bridge, War Jaintia that checks the loading capacity of coal, limestone and boulder stone laden trucks plying to Bangladesh by Land Customs Station in Dawki, the MIYF War Jaintia Circle, Amlarem in a press release congratulated the officers.
Manner and Rongrin implemented the Law of the Land by not allowing the trucks that carry beyond permissible quantity from I-to pass through the Weigh Bridge and strictly imposed fines against the law breakers.
The weigh bridge at present appear to be like a closed one as the crooks do not get an opportunity to carry exceeding amount. The Federation have urged the officers to keep doing good jobs and not to bend upon any pressure in any forms.
