Sonowal, Khandu congratulate Modi, Shah for BJP victory

Itanagar/Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah on the party’s “landslide victory” in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and “spectacular performance” in Manipur and Goa.
He also congratulated all BJP karyakartas for this “historic victory”. In his congratulatory letter, Khandu said the common people are reciprocating to good governance and people friendly programmes initiated by BJP government at the Centre under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The clear mandate in these states proves that the people of this great country have great faith and aspirations from your dynamic leadership,” he said.
The chief minister appreciated the vision and actions of the prime minister and BJP government in the last three years which changed the face of the country.
“The PM’s farsighted vision, plans and policies which benefitted millions of citizens across the country has been well accepted by the common people who through their votes chose BJP to govern these states,” Khandu said.
He lauded the effort of Shah under whose guidance and strategies BJP could win in the states.
With BJP at the helm, the states would see the light of development, good governance and people centric programmes that would benefit every household, every citizen and inclusive growth.
Meanwhile,  Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday hailed BJP’s victory in assembly polls and credited it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “honesty, hardwork and commitment” for the development of the country. ”
The BJP’s victory in assembly election is the result of the Prime Minister’s honesty, hardwork, commitment, dedication and vision for the development of the country,” he told PTI here.
Sonowal said people of the country have witnessed all these qualities in Modi’s leadership. “People have reposed faith in the Prime Minister’s leadership through this massive mandate,” he said.
The Assam Chief Minister also complemented BJP president Amit Shah and said under his leadership the party formulated a formidable election strategy which was properly implemented through the hardwork of dedicated party workers. (PTI)
