SHILLONG: The Shilliang Um People’s Development (SPDF) has slammed the MUA-II government for its alleged step-motherly treatment to Shilliang-Um areas of Mawkyrwat under South West Khasi Hills.
The SPDF has said that the government has turned a blind eye to the dilapidated road leading to the area thereby bringing untold miseries to the residents.
Threatening to agitate if the situation is not rectified, the organisation has demanded the state government to improve the road connectivity in the area at the earliest.
