JOWAI/NONGSTOIN: World Consumers’ Day was celebrated in West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills on Wednesday. The theme this time was ‘Consumer Rights in the Digital Age’.
In Jowai, the office of the DC (Supply) held an awareness programme where locals were informed about cashless transactions in banks. Representatives from SBI and United Babk of India  briefed on the digital products available with the banks.
