SHILLONG: All is not well with the BJP’s Ranikor Mandal where several party functionaries have deserted the unit.
Following the resignation of the general secretary and youth secretary of the Mandal, the secretary Edward Syiemiong followed suit.
Sources said the deserters were unhappy over the style of functioning of the party’s Ranikor Mandal.
The resignations come at a crucial time for the BJP which is gearing up for the 2018 Assembly polls in the State.
After the success of Manipur Assembly polls, the BJP is planning to field candidates in all the 60 seats in the State.
