Man held for hacking ATM account

New Delhi: A man who allegedly hacked and withdrew money from another person’s account at an ATM has been arrested, said police. “On March 24, the accused Asif was nabbed when he tried to flee after withdrawing Rs 40,000 from an ICICI ATM in District Center Janak Puri by hacking it,” said the police. The account belonged to the victim Manveer Singh.
“The victim came to the ATM to check the balance of his account when an unknown person entered the ATM and tactfully observed the PIN Number,” said police.  (PTI)
