Man, 3-yr-old daughter killed in cyclonic storm

SHILLONG: A villager and his three-year-old daughter were killed after a tree fell on their house during a cyclonic storm in an area under Mawsynram.According to police, the incident took place on Thursday evening when the cyclonic storm hit Pattaghat area under Mawsynram police station.Police said that during the storm, the tree fell on the house of Ramesh Hajong (41) killing him and his three-year-old daughter Gritali Hajong on the spot.
