Noida: A 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted by a man three months ago, was on Wednesday rescued by police and the accused was arrested here, police said.
The girl was lured by the accused to run away with him in January after which he took her hostage and raped her several times, sector-20 police station in-charge Inspector Pratap Singh said, adding the accused used to also beat the girl. The girl, a resident of sector-10, was rescued and the accused was arrested, he said. On conducting the girl’s medical examination, the doctors confirmed that the girl was raped and she was pregnant, the officer said. (PTI)
