SHILLONG: A woman from Shillong will represent Meghalaya in the Mrs South Asia India contest to be held on April 25 in New Delhi.
Informing this in a press conference here on Monday, Sabina Parvez Warjri said that the beauty pageant is not only about being beautiful and walking the ramp but it is a pageant with a vision.
The two main agendas of this pageant are women empowerment and environment. She also sought the support of the people of the state for the mega event.
