Body of missing person recovered
A body was recovered from Myntriang River under Kyrluh village in East Jaintia Hills on April 11. The deceased was identified as Sham Shadap (44) of Byrwai village, whose missing report was filed few days ago.

Assaulted
On April 10 around 5 pm, Arun Amsih along with his accomplices assaulted Longkeh Sakra in his residence at Amphreng village under Umsiang outpost in Ri Bhoi.

Theft
On April 9 morning, unknown miscreants stole goods valued around Rs. 14,000 from the shop of Maji T Sangma at Williamnagar Cinema Hall market in East Garo Hills.On April 8 around 6.20 am, unknown miscreants stole one cell phone belonging to Michael Syiem from his house at Kharmalki, Malki.

Fraud call
Maya Thapa lodged a complaint that on April 1 at 2.57 pm, she received a phone call from a person claiming to be a Branch Manager of Canara Bank and asked for her ATM details, to which she complied. Later, she received a text message that Rs. 23,999 was debited from her account.
