Lawyer battered to death by minor Nagpur

Apr 15 (UNI) A 52-year-old woman lawyer was battered to death by a minor boy after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon at Seminary Hills under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police station, police said today. The incident took place last evening. According to police, the deceased was identified as Rajshri alias Rajeshkumari Vishwaswaroop Tandon, resident of Manavseva Nagar in Nagpur. Police said the accused a 10th class student and the woman were neighbours and had a dispute between them for the past several years. The accused has alleged that the victim by using her influential contacts had falsely framed the accused’s father. However, last evening when the victim was passing by the accused’s house, he passed some comments on her. Raged over the comments, Rajshri slapped him which further fumed the accused and then he ran inside his house and brought a sharp edged weapon with which he attacked her repeatedly, leading to the woman’s death.UNI
