Financial assistance to three State sportspersons

SHILLONG: The Monitoring cum Implementation Committee (MCIC) of South Shillong constituency on Thursday handed over sporting kits and financial assistance of Rs. 55,000 to Pynshai Mawrie who has been selected to represent India in the International Wako Asian Kick Boxing Championship 2017 to be held at Ashgabad, Turkmenistan from April 24-30 and Rohit Gurung and Arjun Rana  who will represent Meghalaya in the Open National Taekwondo Championship 2017 to be held at Karnal, Haryana from April 21-23.
