Mission Eleven Million host maiden seminar in city

Shillong: The Mission Eleven Million team successfully hosted their first seminar at State Central Library on Friday with over a hundred school representatives in the audience.The seminar was meant to promote the MIXM programme and grassroots football which is a one of a kind initiative by FIFA. It has 37 cities a part of it with Shillong being one. D.P.Wahlang, Secretary and Commissioner of Education was the Guest of Honour and delivered a special address while Secretary of Meghalaya Players Football Association,Wanshan Kharkhrang gave the keynote speech. Both guests who are avid football fans spoke vividly about the game and the need for schools to have more sports based activities.
