SHILLONG: The Congress MDC and former Minister, P.T Sawkmie, said the claim of BJP top brass that the party will form the next Government is a distant dream.
In his reaction on Friday, Sawkmie said voters in the State are wise enough to choose the right party and the candidates.
The voters feel safe, secure and confident in electing the Congress or regional parties in the elections compared to BJP, Sawkmie said.
“There is a feeling among the people of the State and the North East that as of today, people will not be ready to either accept the BJP or digest it,” Sawkmie added.
