Three-year-old run over by truck

JOWAI: A three-year-old boy was run over by a dumper truck and died on the spot on Saturday.
The incident took place at Wapung shnong,East Jaintia Hills during the celebration of the annual Shad Sukra festival organised by Sein Raij Shnong Wapung Shnong.
Sources informed that initially, the victim was with his mother.
He suddenly left his mother and crossed the road to reach the venue and a truck hit him.
He succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
