SHILLONG: The Monitoring cum Implementation Committee of Laban-Mawprem District Council Constituency in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong Lawsohtun laid the foundation stone on Saturday for construction of a community hall of the Dorbar Shnong Lawsohtun sanctioned for an amount of Rs 10 lakh funded under SPA scheme recommended by Ricky Shullai, MDC cum Chairman of the Committee.
Ricky unveiled the foundation stone of the project in presence of Rangbah Shnong Mitchell Wankhar, Secretary Shnong Lamkhraw Kharbuli, Rangbah Dongs, members of Dorbar Shnong Lawsohtun and others.The MDC also handed over a work order for Rs 42 lakh funded under SPA scheme to H. Ryntathiang, secretary of the Committee.
The project will be implemented for various public developmental activities within Laban-Mawprem District Council Constituency.
