17-yr-old found hanging
Mohan Poon lodged a complaint that on May 7, his daughter (19) was found hanging in her residence at Air Force Area, Laitkor Peak (EKH) and is suspected to have been murdered by unknown persons.
Minor missing
A woman lodged a complaint that her daughter (16) was found missing from their residence at Modokpara under Mahendraganj since May 11, 2017 and is suspected to have been abducted by unknown persons.
2 injured in accident
On May 13 around 2.30 am, one Bolero vehicle (ML-08E-0202) driven by Richard Marak (32) met with an accident at Bivar Road, Shillong. As a result, the driver and a lady occupant sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Assaulted
On May 11 around 11.30 pm, three boys Tyllilang Mylliem Umlong, Andrew Mylliem Umlong and Arginet Mylliem Umlong assaulted two persons Rocester Mylliem Umlong and Alaxation Mylliem Umlong at Mawlai Umthlong, Shillong. As a result, Rocester sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Motorbikes stolen
Sengban W Momin lodged a complaint that on May 10 night, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08B-9179) from his compound at Ringrey, Tura
Kajal Saha Talukdar lodged a complaint that on May 10 night, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08D-4189) from M/s SC Das Petrol Pump, Tura and then threw it in a stream near Sukbir Bhavan, Tura.
Theft
On May 10 around 4.30 in the morning, Krosland Lyngdoh Marshillong was caught stealing iron rods from a construction site at Shillong Law College in Dhankheti.
